Open sessions

23 March  2017– 26 October 2017
Hillsborough Park ball courts.

These sessions are open to the public and due to support from The People’s Health Trust we have reduced our prices to £3 per rider. Carers ride free!

The sessions are run by a qualified and experienced cycle leader and a minimum of two cycling supporters who are able to provide help, advice and assistance throughout the day.

There are various cycles to choose from, each built to cater to specific needs.

We are not confined to the ball courts. We have the freedom of Hillsborough Park, and guided / supported rides are available. Staff will be as involved or uninvolved as riders wish.

There should be no need to book, though at busy times you may need to wait a short while for a particular bike to become available. If you require a specific bike at a specific time, please contact us in advance to let us know.

About Hillsborough Park

Hillsborough Park is a lovely suburban park in North Sheffield. It’s relatively flat, but there are a few steady gradients to grunt up and freewheel down.

Getting here

There is a large car park within the park accessed from Parkside Road. The SC4A meeting point is approximately 50 meters from the car park.

Hillsborough Park Tram Stop is on the yellow route to Middlewood. It’s around a 10 minute walk from here to the meeting point.

Hillsborough Park is served by several bus routes, with the most frequent being the 20 and 53 First Mainline services.

Route 20 runs past the park on Middlewood Road, while the 53 route follows Penistone Road.

Further information on trams and buses is available from Travel South Yorkshire.
