Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

Open sessions cost £5 per rider.

How long can I ride for?

There is no official time limit. Most people tend to ride for an hour or so. At quiet times you will be able to ride for longer.

How do I get there?

Please see our Open Sessions information page for details on how to find us.

Do I have to book?

There is no need to book. However if you do want a specific bike at a specific time, it might be wise to contact us and let us know.

Do I have to wait?

It’s unlikely that you will have to wait. However if you wish to use a specific bike that is currently in use by another rider, you might have to wait a short while.

Tip: mornings are generally quieter than afternoons!

Can I take someone with me?

Yes. As long as they are accompanying a rider, there is no charge for carers or personal assistants.

Are there enough bikes?

Our fleet is quite large. Due to the specialist nature of the bikes, and the varied requirements of riders, people tend to find that there are one or two bikes in particular that suits them.

How do I arrange a session for a group of people?

Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Is safety equipment provided?

We provide helmets for those who want them, but they are not mandatory.

I’ve never ridden a bike before! Can I still come?

Of course! That’s one of the reasons we’re here.  Our team are always happy to advise new riders.

Is there anyone I can contact if I want to find out more about the sessions ?

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions not covered on the website

Are bikes and sessions suitable for any disability?

Everyone is different, so obviously we can’t guarantee that we have a bike suited  for everybody. Take a look at our fleet page and see if there’s anything that might suit you. If you have a more specific query do please get in touch.
